CHAPTER 6
Hell
This is the place where the souls that have not accepted the gift of Jesus Christ on the cross will be found. It is appointed unto men to die once, but after this the Judgment (Hebrews 9: 27). There is no second chance, "For the wages of sin, it` s death but the gift of God `s eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6: 23)." If someone walks alone facing death without accepting Christ's sacrifice on the cross for him, such a person plunges into death with all his sins. As his sins are not forgiven by Jesus Christ, he cannot be justified and seen through the Holy Lord to enter the kingdom of God. The sins of the soul are retained forever in the kingdom of death, created for satan and his angels. God has no jurisdiction here since satan made man, mortal in the Garden of Eden.
The only HOLY Blood approved by God to save the souls of men is that of his Son, that is Jesus Christ made man.
let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.
This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12
By this Holy sacrifice, the Father reconciles all men who come to him through this passage.
20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled
Colossians 1:20-21
and
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5: 18-19
The only atoning victim for the redemption of sins is Christ.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins
1 John 4:10
and
22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Romans 3:22-26
No man will escape this divine law. Christian experts embarked on mathematical calculations to estimate the number of souls saved per generation according to biblical belief. They believe that there is an average of 2 to 5 percent of the world with this ticket for the kingdom of heaven.
What happens there in Hell?
In this regard, many people believe that hell is on earth or that the decision is simply annihilation. Not true! Jesus spoke thirty-one times in public and mentioned seventeen times, hell, gehenna, lake that burns with fire and brimstone, outer darkness . This situation will occur after death as an eternal judgment. To demonstrate this, note Isaiah, the judgment promised by God to those who are against Him.
And they shall go forth and look
Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.‖
Isaiah 66:24
And
…rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched ’
Mark 9: 43
And …rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched Mark 9: 45 And
Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Revelation 19:20
And
But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
Revelation 21:8
And
Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‗Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels
Matthew 25:41
In hell, there will be darkness, weeping and gnashing of teeth
But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
Matthew 6:23
And But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness . There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 8:12
And
Then the king said to the servants, ‗Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness ; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.‘
Matthew 22:13
And
And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness . There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.‘
Matthew 25:30
Many other verses confirm that.
In another vein, some believe that in hell, there will be with friends, laughing and feasting, night and day. They say to themselves, satan will accept us as we are, as sinners. But do not listen to these lies, because hell is solitude in which men will dwell in total darkness and eternal fire. Added to this is the misfortune of men being subjected to torments of satan and his angels. In short, hell is a terrible place with eternal solitude.
Apart from what we have mentioned in this book about hell, gnashing of teeth, darkness, a fire that consumes day and night the occupants and total solitude, in short, a world under the control of evil without the presence of God and all this forever.
It is a myth to think that there will be a life of sin where all indulge in their worst meanness or sin. WRONG. The Bible says:
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
Ecclesiastes 9:10
We are born alone; no one knows where we came from. We will die alone and everyone will forget us. The wicked is feared, but we never weep for him. We live alone with ourselves: and nobody can see what is in us, help us to be happy. When we die who will remember us? It is a sin of pride in the eyes of God, to refuse to accept the SALVATION God offers us through His HOLY SON.
God is holy; He cannot take any man who has not been justified and sanctified through the HOLY BLOOD OF THE RIGHTEOUS who is Jesus Christ. Also, God will not allow any sinner into His Kingdom.
But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Revelation 21:27
In this regard, some will say in hell, had I been born in Canada rather than in the USSR, I might have had greater chances of going to heaven. God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. Before our soul gets into an earthly body at birth, it weighs every imaginable situation so that we are born again and one day be saved by the sacrifice of His HOLY SON. God will give us every opportunity to ensure that the Holy Spirit enlightens us. God the Father, gives us faith to believe in HIS SON, undeniable proof of His love for us.
And He said, ―Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.‖
John 6:65
It is well to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. However, each individual must accept the Holy Sacrifice. Each, individually without any exception, must recognize that he is a sinner, repent, give his sins to Jesus on the cross and accept to be justified by His Holy Sacrifice before God forever.
We are all studied before making the journey at our birth. God provides a home for us in the best environment for our spiritual growth. However, He already knows those who belong to Him. Our body is the envelope that allows us to move and enjoy life. In this way, God can say:
3 and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.
6 "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
Matthew 18:3-7
God warns satan and demons not to touch His children and not to put in men an evil spirit that can harm them. God wherever He is watches over His children and protects them in His paternal love. A child needs a father.
Therefore, all children are predestined
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Romans 8:29-30
And
having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
Ephesians 1:5
And
In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,
Ephesians 1:11
And
He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you
1 Peter 1:20
God loves His children. Abortion is murder. The earth can feed its people. All these evil like famine, overpopulation and third worlds have been created by greedy men and lovers of money.
15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.
17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.
19 Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God! Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men.
20 For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain.
21 Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalms 139: 15-24
According to the Bible, there will be varying degrees of pain in hell made in accordance with the life on earth. But this is the place where most people will go, atheists, people following a religion and sectarian. Even those who believed in the Son of God, but did not ask him to take their sins on the cross to be saved, those who think they are saved by weighing their good deeds against their bad deeds. All these people do not recognize themselves as sinners and do not repent of their evil deeds through the person of Jesus Christ the HOLY ONE. They commit the sin of pride; at birth, they are placed here and there.
MAY BE SOME ARE PONDERING OVER the situation of people of the ancient world, what is the fate of men of the Old Testament who were not Hebrews, or even those who did not know Christ under the Age of Grace?
Here comes an important truth, before the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, good people were placed in a special place in the grave. Since the atoning victim, who had the holy blood had not yet defeated the forces of evil, the souls of people approved by God awaited their liberation in a special place in the grave.
Among these souls were Hebrews who died in the hope of a Shiloh or Messiah to come. This equally includes people of the ancient world who worshipped God in sincerity and in conformity with God through animal burnt offerings for the forgiveness of their sins hoping for eternal salvation. Similarly, people born without the knowledge of God the creator must submit themselves to this divine law. Indeed, knowledge of the true and unique God the creator is manifest to all men. Several ancient religions worshipped a true and unique God of creation and many people did that from the bottom of their hearts. So, all those who died without knowing the God of Adam or the God of Abraham were in this special place of the grave. This law was applied until the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Jesus being the corner stone of creation , He alone through His divinity and Holiness could offer to God a sacrifice worthy of reconciliation for the forgiveness of the sins of all men. In this way, those who died before the sacrifice on the cross, having practiced one of those three laws: died in the faith of a God the creator, unique and good to those who did not know the God of Abraham and Adam and – those who died in the faith of a future Messiah while practicing animal burnt offering for the forgiveness of their sins –and those who died in the practice of levitical worship under the Old Testament. Approved by God, these souls were liberated from the grave and entered with Christ into the Kingdom of Heaven. However, after the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, the predestination of souls became a rule established by God.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven
against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men,
who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19 because what may be known of God is manifest in
them, for God has shown it to them.
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible
attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the
things that are made, even His eternal power and
Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
21 because, although they knew God, they did not
glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became
futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were
darkened.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,
30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;
32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
Romans 1: 16-32
Therefore, those who died under the Old Testament put in this special place in the grave were waiting for the atoning work of Christ on the cross. Thus, Apostle Peter explains in his epistle that the captive souls were liberated and brought with Him into the Kingdom of Heaven.
17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,
19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison,
1 Peter 3:17-19
AND
For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
1 Peter 4:6
According to the Divine plan of God, Christ brought with Him to heaven all the captive souls.
8 Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men."
9 (Now this, "He ascended"--what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
Ephesians 4:8-10
Nevertheless, even if Jesus liberated the captive souls that God kept for Himself during the Old Testament, It is clear that from the day of the saving work of Christ no other foundation can be substituted for the redemption of the sins of those who die without going through the sacrifice of Christ to save them. That is why the refuge of souls in the grave with the resurrection of Christ who liberated them is now closed.
Indeed, Christ gave His life as a ransom for all men once. The predestination of God and the saving work automatically give perfect salvation for all under the Age of grace. The Father reconciled the world through His son. We have to be grateful and polite to the Father because He has all the powers.
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you will hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness,
9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years.
10 Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, 'They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.'
11 So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest.' " 12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;
13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,
Hebrew 3:7-14
During the exodus from Egypt, the Hebrew people had an army of 603.550 souls (Numbers 1: 46). Males between the age of twenty and above excluding, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, Caleb and their respective families, all the generation of people who came out of Egypt did not see the Kingdom of heaven. This is because throughout their journey across the desert they rebelled against God despite all the miracles that they saw.
Few people know the real story of forty years of wandering in the wilderness of the Hebrews Did you know that nearly two years and some months after their departure from Egypt, the Hebrews were able to enter the Promised Land, Israel? They sent spies, and they discouraged the people. One of the spies Caleb exclaimed, "Let us go, let us seize the country, we will be victorious! (Numbers 13: 30) - Of those who had spied out the land, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, rent their clothes, and spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel: The country that we have come to explore is a very good, excellent. If the Lord delights in us, he will lead us to this country, and give it to us. It is a land flowing with milk and honey. Only you must not rebel against the Lord, and fear not the people of this country, because they will serve as pasture, they have no shade to cover themselves. The Lord is with us, do not fear! (Numbers 14:6-9)" The people refused to obey God and for forty (40) years, they wandered in the desert. No one who refused the first time to enter the country saw it again. A new generation was formed in the desert; took the promises of God and acted upon. Only Joshua and Caleb of the previous generation entered the country.
Although the salvation of Jesus actually saves men, let no one be rude and disrespectful to the Father. Although merciful, He is total Holiness. Let each person approach God respectfully, do not rebel against God, do not be ungrateful and do not be exasperated against God. If the world has become so cruel today, it is the fault of men who by their sins have allowed a caste to install itself, control the money of the masses, creating a bureaucracy and nepotism leading to the slaughter with their laws and policies. It is not God's will and He will intervene in time to change this distorted order.
Father, keep all power until Judgment Day. So, it is important that every "born again‖ Christian sincerely repent of their sins and walk in the way of God in holiness. Do your best and help your brothers and sisters.
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10.28
